AI Consultant Surrey
Who can a small business in Surrey use as an AI consultant?
Dean Keating is an AI consultant who works with small and owner-managed businesses across Surrey, including Guildford, Woking, Epsom, Reigate, Camberley and Farnham. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, further down the A3, and works with Surrey firms remotely. Rather than writing a strategy document, he builds AI agents, installs them in the tools the business already uses and looks after them. Bookings are by WhatsApp on 07418 627304.
I’m Dean. I don’t have a Surrey office and I’m not going to invent one. What I do have is a way of working that doesn’t need me in the building.
Surrey
Expensive people doing inexpensive work
Surrey has some of the highest wage bills in the country outside London. When a fee earner or a practice manager spends an afternoon chasing documents and updating a spreadsheet, that is one of the dearest ways there is to get admin done.
- ✕ Senior staff onboarding new clients by hand, one email at a time.
- ✕ Enquiries from the website sitting unanswered until Monday.
- ✕ Monthly client reports assembled from four different systems.
- ✕ Recruiting another administrator because the last one is swamped.

Working together
How a remote build works for a Surrey firm
We start with a video call where you share your screen and walk me through a normal week. I record where the time goes, come back with a short list of jobs worth automating, and build the first agent against your real systems. You see it working on your own data before anything goes live, and nobody has to clear a meeting room.
Free call
A quick, no-pressure call to understand your business and where the time’s going.
The audit
I go through how the work really happens in your business, and map every repetitive task worth automating.
Build & install
I build the agents and plug them into the tools you already use — done for you, on your systems.
Train & support
I show your team how it runs, then keep it running. You keep the time and the savings.
What gets built
Six kinds of work an agent can take on
Admin & data entry
Your records stay up to date without anyone touching a keyboard.
Reporting & ops
The numbers you actually need, in your inbox, with nobody building a spreadsheet.
Invoicing & finance
Invoices go out on time, and the overdue ones chase themselves.
Sales & follow-up
Every enquiry answered and every lead chased — even at 11pm on a Sunday.
Customer service
The common questions handled instantly; the tricky ones passed to a human.
Marketing & content
Your marketing keeps ticking over, even in your busiest week.
FAQ
What Surrey owners ask first
Do you have an office in Guildford or Woking?
No. I’m based in Horndean in Hampshire, about half an hour down the A3 from the Surrey border. Surrey work is done remotely and I say so up front.
We are regulated. Can we still use AI agents?
Usually, yes, but it shapes the design. Tell me on the first call which regulator you answer to and what data is involved. Some jobs are fine to automate fully, some need a person to approve each step, and some I will tell you to leave alone.
Is this a training course for my team?
No. Plenty of consultants in Surrey sell workshops. I build the thing and install it, then show your team how to work alongside it. If you only want training, I’m the wrong person.
How is this different from hiring another administrator?
An administrator takes on the workload as it is. An agent removes the repetitive part of it altogether, works out of hours and does not leave. Most firms keep their staff and give them better work to do.
How much does an AI consultant cost?
It depends entirely on how much work you want taken off your plate — a single follow-up agent is a very different job to automating a whole back office. I don’t quote before I understand your setup. The first call is free, and you’ll leave it knowing what’s worth doing and roughly what’s involved, whether you use me or not.
Is this just a website chatbot?
No. A chatbot waits on your website to be asked a question. The agents I build log into the tools you already use and do the actual job — the same clicks and keystrokes your staff make now, start to finish. Answering the website is one small thing they can do, not the point of them.
